Mr Daniel Coyle

Daniel Patrick Coyle has taught in the London schools since 1989. Since 2013 he has been Headteacher of Newman Catholic College in Harlesden, Brent. This is a first class school which offers a high quality inclusive education to children from a wide variety of backgrounds. Whilst over half of the students are Catholic the remainder come from the Muslim and Hindu faith. Newman Catholic College has been able to establish a loving, supportive, respectful and stimulating ethos in an ordered and calm environment.

 

Mr. Coyle originally comes from Manchester but moved south to study History at University in the mid 1980s. He retains a passionate interest in History and also follows political and educational developments assiduously. Mr. Coyle believes that education is about transformation and that moreover “knowledge is power” (scientia potenti est). He endeavors to ensure that all the young people in his charge benefit from that philosophy.
