Isabelle Cochran Sursock is a joint Irish and Lebanese national.She was educated in Beirut and Rome and pursued further studies in London and New York. Isabelle has continued the long and respected family tradition of working closely with organisations in the voluntary sector in Lebanon where she still retains a home and spends part of the year.


Isabelle has been particularly active especially in the current crisis in organising the collection and delivery of vital medical supplies to NGOs in Lebanon. She is also an active board member of an NGO which assists the most vulnerable elderly people in Beirut, victims of the lack of adequate state social infrastructure both before and especially after the explosion in 2020.
